CabMemo is a mobile application developed to help cab, taxi, and auto-rickshaw drivers generate professional PDF fare invoices instantly. The app is available on Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store).
We only collect information that is necessary to operate the app. Below is a full breakdown of everything we collect — and what we do not.
✓ We do not collect: microphone audio, contacts, call logs, SMS, device IMEI, or any biometric data.
Your data is used solely to provide the app's core features. We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or sale to third parties.
- Authenticate your account and keep your session active across app launches
- Pre-fill your driver details (name, vehicle number) on generated PDF invoices
- Store ride fare details so you can access your ride history at any time
- Generate and export professional PDF cash memos for each completed journey
- Display your earnings summary and ride count on your profile screen
- Allow profile photo upload as a visual identifier on your driver profile
- We do NOT use your data for advertising or targeted marketing
- We do NOT sell or rent your data to any third party
- We do NOT share your data with other drivers or users
- We do NOT use your data to build behavioural profiles
Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure, which provides enterprise-grade security. All data in transit is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security).
Note: While we implement strong security practices, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your CabMemo account.
CabMemo uses the following third-party services to operate. These services have their own privacy policies which we encourage you to review.
✓ CabMemo contains no third-party advertising SDKs. No ad networks, analytics trackers, or social media pixels are embedded in the app.
You have full control over your personal data. The following rights are available to all users:
- Access — Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
- Correction — Update or correct your driver profile, email or contact info at any time via the Edit Profile screen
- Deletion — Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing support@cabmemo.app
- Portability — Request an export of your ride history data in a readable format
- Objection — Object to any processing of your data by contacting us directly
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@cabmemo.app with the subject line "Data Request". We will respond within 7 business days.
CabMemo is designed for professional cab and taxi drivers. The app is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 18 in jurisdictions where higher age minimums apply).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at support@cabmemo.app and we will delete the information promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- Post a notice within the app informing you of significant changes
- For material changes, request re-confirmation within the app
Continued use of CabMemo after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
